Ongoing: Cheshire East Council
Development of guidance, mechanisms, advocacy and delivery of public art aligned to the five ways to wellbeing. Focusing on two towns, Macclesfield and Crewe Station and their regeneration areas.
2012: CWAC Public Art Strategic Framework (PASF)
The PASF was written with the intention to give direction and consistency to the practice of commissioning high quality public art in the authority. The strategy sets out the parameters of how to achieve high quality work and follows what is nationally recognised as best practice. With a programme of change happening across CW&C there was a wealth of opportunity for public art to be identified and captured.
The strategy is being delivered in a number of ways, for instance, in Chester and Northwich a thematic approach has been appropriate when developing a cohesive programme for the town/city. Co authored with Carmel Clapson Arts Development Officer.
2009: Public Realm Design Guides for Chester & Kendal with Taylor Young
The Public Art section is included for information and was developed alongside a comprehensive Guide for the City that is now being implemented.
